The location is as good as it gets, walking distance to a superb restaurant and 5-minute drive to Sax and an 8-minute drive to Elda. The property has a commanding position but is reached by a smooth tarmac road. The views to the rear are of the mountains and the land stretches right up to them, the views to the front are of countryside, mountains and the town of Sax with just the greatest view of Sax castle.
The exterior of the property is as wonderful as the interior. Take a look at the photos of the pool area and imagine diving in on a hot summer day and then relaxing with an ice-cold drink whilst taking in the scenery. The 25,000m2 of land is separated into four parts and has been thought out by people who obviously love dogs.
Part of the land is fenced off in a 3,000m2 parcel around the house, another part is the land below the house which has separate entrance gates for a tractor. The major part of the land is behind the house and to the side is a 4,000m2 fully fenced plot created for dogs with professional style kennels that are insulated. The Apartment is spacious and with far better views than Main House and as well tastefully more luxurious. If this were to be offered on Airbnb for example, extra revenue could easily be achieved.
The Apartment is situated below the main house but not underground at any point as the main house has a raised position. An architect has drawn plans for an integral staircase but the project was shelved. It could easily be brought back to life if required.
There are a dozen steps that take you up to the main house and you enter into an L-shaped hallway with a bathroom immediately on your left and then the three steps up to a sumptuous lounge/diner with a feature log burning fireplace that is stunning. The views from here are breath-taking. A patio door takes you out to a lovely sunbathing and relaxing terrace.
Back along the hallway, on the right is a lovely kitchen, typically Spanish in size but beautifully fitted. Bearing in mind that around 75% of life in Spain is spent outside the house there are plenty of opportunities for exterior cooking including a super BBQ house.
